• Work in a safe manner by following all Occupational Health & Safety Regulations and Company Policies and Procedures
• Perform other essential duties as required

2. Millwright (Earlton, ON) – Future Hiring Pool

Requirements:

• Must possess a valid Millwright license or proof of apprenticeship
• Welding (1, 2, 3 or 4 positions) SMAW, FCAW or GMAW is an asset
• The ability to read safety rules, drawings and blueprints
• Exceptional attention to detail and mathematical skills
• Proficient in troubleshooting and problem solving techniques
• Great attention to safety policies, procedures and protocols
• Able to work in all kinds of physically demanding and work environments (field work)
• Experience in hoisting/rigging will be considered

3. Mechanical Engineer (Earlton, ON) – Vacant Position

Description: Deliver various mechanical engineering services (i.e. conveyors, structural platforms, tanks, pressure piping and pressure vessels, etc.)

Roles and Responsibilities:
– Manage projects within budget and time constraints
– Arrange and supervise design drafting staff for the work undertaken
– Prepare mechanical calculations in accordance with the relevant Canadian and Ontario standards
– Manage, perform and stamp mechanical and structural engineering designs
– Prepare engineering reports
Requirements:
– B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, P.Eng. Ontario Certification
– Minimum 5 years’ experience in mechanical engineering with an emphasis on energy, wood and mining industries
– Familiarity with Canadian Building Codes and mechanical engineering practices
– Strong communication and technical writing skills
– Familiar with AutoCAD drafting
– Knowledge of API620, API650, ASME B31.1, ASME B31.3, ASME BPVC and TSSA would be an asset
– Knowledge of blue print reading, metal fabrication and welding would be an asset

Requirements:
– Must have mechanical aptitude, positive attitude and strong work ethic. Self-starting motivated individual who is looking to learn all aspects of the metal fabricating trade.

Roles and Responsibilities:
– Saw cutting
– Print reading
– Fitting/layout
– Mig and Tig welding of steel, stainless steel, and aluminum
– Manual machining
– Ability to read blueprints

Other:
– Able to learn various jobs and duties quickly
– Able to sit, squat, kneel, crouch and bend at various working heights.
– Bilingual (English/French) would be an asset

Job Type & Salary:
Full time, permanent. Salary will commensurate with qualifications and experience (Range $25,000 – $32,000)
