Overview:

Specializing in manipulating steel, aluminum, and other materials into various industry structural forms. Coordinate with fellow workers and the ability to read blueprints, mechanical knowledge, and strong attention to detail and safety.

The ideal candidate has:

  • Welder certification
  • The ability to read safety rules and blueprints
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a strong focus on safety
  • Experience working in the field
  • Operating angle grinders to weld specific metals
  • Experience in hoisting/rigging will be considered
  • Ability to multitask
  • Accountable and dependable
  • Clean driver’s abstract and valid driver’s license
  • Motivated & team orientation

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Fitting of metal
  • Assemble material as per drawing
  • Weld as per welding symbols
  • Lay out of holes
  • Rigging & handling
  • Assembly of weldments
  • Participate at shutdowns
  • Troubleshooting and identifying issues and hazards
  • Following all safety and health procedures to avoid accidents and hazards

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $18.00-$38.00 per hour (commensurate with qualifications and experience

Overview:

To manage efficiency and building a positive team environment   Create and oversee the workflow and tasks required to complete a job and produce a high quality product that meets the specifications on the work order and the delivery deadlines.

The ideal candidate has:

  • Welder or Millwright certification
  • The ability to read safety rules and blueprints
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a strong focus on safety
  • Experience working in the field as a supervisor
  • Experience with metal fabrication installation
  • Experience in hoisting/rigging
  • Ability to multitask
  • Accountable and dependable
  • Clean driver’s abstract and valid driver’s license

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Supervise a team of 3-10 workers
  • Assemble material as per drawing
  • Weld as per welding symbols
  • Lead a team on build projects in the field
  • Rigging & handling

  • Troubleshooting and identifying issues and hazards
  • Following all safety and health procedures to avoid accidents and hazards

Job Type:  Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $28.00-$38.00 per hour including travelling premiums – commensurate with qualifications and experience

3. Nor-Arc Payroll/Office Administrator (Earlton, ON)

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and outgoing individual to join our company in the capacity of Payroll/Office Administrator.

Overview:

To prepare and handle all Payroll and Office Administrator Duties in a timely and efficient manner.

The ideal candidate has:

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel
  • Data entry experience or related office experience
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to perform assigned duties with minimum supervision
  • Bilingual would be an asset (English/French)

Roles and Responsibilities:

Payroll

  • Maintain employee confidence and protect payroll operations by keeping information confidential.
  • Time sheet & time Card Entry (Verify Job Numbers, verify codes and Input Hours to Calculate Pay)
  • Compile payroll reports weekly, monthly and yearly.
  • Data entry of employee payroll information as required. (Ex: new hires, change of address, promotions and terminations).
  • Verify and process forms and documents for administration of the company benefits.
  • Maintains a record of employee attendance and leaves.
  • Maintains a good relationship with HR.
  • Audits data entered for completeness and accuracy and appropriately follows up on inaccurate data.
  • Strong attention to detail.

Auto Shop Administration

  • Data Entry for Auto Shop in GSS (Creation of Purchase Order for invoices of the Auto Shop and Entering Information of maintenance of Company Vehicles into GSS)
  • Weekly Balancing of Cash Drawer.

Office Administration:

  • Office Supply inventory and order. (bi-monthly)
  • WSIB Insurance (Sub Contractors)
  • Rework Report/Time Report (monthly)
  • Late Shipment Report by Vendor (GP) weekly
  • Apply for different programs and submit information as required.
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Type:  Full-time, Permanent
